PinO

Pino™ is a new Thrivable™ retreat center in the mountains of North Georgia. The center is located on a twenty acre bluff with 360 degree views of the Blue Ridge mountains. Pino, meaning “pine in Italian, pays homage to the untouched stands of legacy white pines on this particular point. The center focuses on teaching guests how to live with Thrivable™ principles by exhibiting naturally built straw bale cabins, swedish toilets, organic swimming pools, solar hot air heated spaces, geothermal greenhouses and many other technologies. Pino™ is already receiving an upgraded forest experience by the planting of new stands of American Chestnut. Native brown trout will also be stocked in the organic pools and stream systems. A bathhouse with an infrared sauna, rain shower, ancient roman wood heated hot tub and other amnities prove how living off grid can be vibrant and life giving. An amphitheater and events space is available for lectures, classes and retreats.
